U sually, at the Mobile World Congress, there are many interesting gadgets that are waiting to be discovered. Such was the case with the NEC Media W N-05E, a flipping smartphone that reveals two 4.3 inch screens, which together deliver a combined size of 5.6 inch. Unfortunately for gadget lovers, the crazy designed NEC Medias W N-05E will be available only for the Japanese consumers (through NTT Docomo) but it is pretty hard to believe that it could prove to be an attractive device for consumers outside the country of the rising sun. Y otaPhone , a device which pushed the limits of imagination one step further when it was announced in December last year, was also present here at MWC 2013, in Barcelona. M ore and more phone makers are turning their focus by releasing cheaper smartphones that come with appealing features. At the Mobile World Congress 2013 Nokia didn’t announce a Windows 8 tablet (at least, not yet), but instead, the Finnish company released 4 new phones: the Lumia 720, Lumia 520, Nokia 301 and Nokia 105 .   N okia launched the Lumia 720 earlier today at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, another mid-range Windows Phone 8 device which sits between the flagship Lumia 920 and low end Lumia 520 (also announced today). The 4.3-inch IPS clearblack display is pretty impressive to look at, and like other Lumia phones, Lumia 720 comes in variety of vibrant colors as well. Unlike Lumia 920, the Lumia 720 is pretty light and good to hold in your hands. It’s powered by 1 GHz Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 processor and 512MB of RAM, with 8GB of internal memory and a microSD slot expandable upto 32GB. The 6.7 megapixel camera on the rear comes with LED flash and can record HD (720p) videos at 30fps. Nokia is promising a standby time of 520h and talk time of 13.5h with its 2000mAh battery. N okia has just unveiled their cheapest Windows Phone 8 phone yet, the Lumia 520 . This budget smartphone retails for €139 and is pretty similar to the older Lumia 620, announced last year. We spent some time with this budget WP8 device, which is scheduled to be launched in March 2013. Like other low-end devices, Lumia 520 sports a 4-inch WVGA display, a partly 8GB of internal memory, a passable 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1 GHz Dual Core Snapdragon processor. To cut down the price, Nokia hasn’t bothered to put a front-facing shooter on the unit and neither astonishing features, such as premium display or a premium processing unit. Although some of these elements may seem moderate, we have to note that the Lumia 520 comes with a WGA display capable of 800 x 480 pixel resolution and a fair pixel density, paired with super-sensitive qualities which can sense even gloves.
